This privacy policy governs your use of the software application DiviDine (“Application”) for mobile devices developed by DiviDine, Inc. The Application is designed to assist users in splitting bills and expenses among multiple participants by utilizing optical character recognition (“OCR”) to convert images of receipts into itemized lists, facilitating equitable distribution of costs and enabling seamless payment transactions among users.
User Provided Information:
DiviDine collects information provided by users during the download and
usage of the Application. This includes but is not limited to photographs
captured using the Application’s camera function or imported from the
device, contents of receipts input manually or parsed via OCR,
user-entered names, selected receipt items, and payment transactions.
Automatically Collected Information:
Additionally, DiviDine may automatically collect certain information, such
as the type of mobile device used, the operating system, and usage
patterns within the Application.
Location Information:
DiviDine does not collect precise real-time location information from
mobile devices.
Third-Party Access:
To facilitate OCR processing of receipt images, DiviDine may transmit
these images to third-party OCR service providers. Only the image files
themselves are transmitted without additional information. However, any
visible content or metadata within the images may be accessible to the OCR
service provider, subject to their respective privacy policies.
For payment facilitation, necessary transaction information is shared with supported payment service providers. Users may need to authenticate through these payment services, and any information shared during authentication or payment transactions is subject to the privacy policies of the respective payment service providers.
Aggregated, anonymized data may be shared with external services solely for the purpose of improving the Application and its services. User information is disclosed in accordance with this privacy statement.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale involving DiviDine, users will be notified via email and/or prominent notice on the website regarding any changes in ownership or data usage, along with any available choices regarding the information.
Users can cease information collection by uninstalling the Application through standard processes available on their mobile devices or app marketplaces.
DiviDine retains user-provided data and automatically collected information for as long as the Application is used. Users can request permanent deletion of their data by contacting DiviDine at info@dividineapp.com.
DiviDine does not knowingly collect or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has provided information without consent, they should contact DiviDine for prompt removal of the data.
DiviDine employs physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect user information. Access to information is restricted to authorized personnel and contractors who require it for Application operation, development, or improvement.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of any changes by posting the updated policy on the website. Continued use of the Application signifies acceptance of the revised policy.

Processing activities, including data collection, storage, and disclosure, will occur in the United States.
